CT & DRESSAGE DRAW

Dressage phase now permits the use whips and the calling of tests in EvA65 and EvA 80 classes. At this event riders may have all tests
called up to EvA95.  Please check the Eventing tests being used, they are in the Team APP. Combined Training with split divisions will
complete their dressage on the same surface type.  Please try to course walk jumping before dressage, if the dressage draw time is
later in split secondary divisions. The split divisions will alternate riders in the jumping phase. An extra course walk will be offered if
needed. GEAR CHECK IS COMPULSORY after all CT Dressage Tests

Please note some rings will commence from 7.30am.  Course walks are prior to these commencement times. Start times for classes are published with the draw order. Riders must watch the progress of the rings as times may run ahead. Riders need to be prompt into the ring. Those with multiple rides in smaller classes may need extra time to warm up. Course walks will be combined for divisions of the same height e.g. Intermediate and Senior. Classes will follow on. Jumps offs will follow all first-round riders in each height when there are multiple divisions of the same height.

Gear Check is COMPULSORY after EVERY DRESSAGE Test – INCLUDING CT Whip lengths including tassel: Horse 1.2m and Ponies 1.0m. Gloves must be worn. Dressage or all-purpose saddles must be used.. All tests Preparatory to Advanced may be called.

Riders need to be prompt to the rings as times are tight. In the event of a clash with Show Horse, please present as soon possible. Scores cannot  be posted until all competitors in the age level have ridden.

SHOW HORSE DRAW

IMPORTANT

You will have 3 times on the draw

LED – All riders will walk in draw order and line up to present to
judge, and then do work outs one after each other

RIDER – You will be doing your workout in draw order at your set time

RIDDEN – You will be allocated into a heat start time, riders in your
heat will enter on the circle together, and be instructed to trot /
canter by the steward and then exit the ring and line up where you
will then be coming back in one at a time in draw order to do your
workout.

No Numnahs. Numbers can be saddle cloth or chest plate ( need to make your own, numbers are on the draw)
Whips are not permitted to exceed 75cm.
Helmets do NOT need to be tagged for Show Horse classes only.
EA rules PROHIBIT the removal of sensory hairs We know that this format is new, and for those that do a lot of showing is very standard – for those unsure stewards will assist – Kim Joblin will be at Boneo on Tuesday afternoon  4-5pm in the Show Horse arena area if you would like to ask any questions or have anything further explained, or walked through.
